Erasmus+ application procedure consists of two main steps:
Incoming students must be nominated through our on-line nomination system by the university coordinator
Students should make Online Learning Agreement
First each student who wants to come to study at MENDELU within the Erasmus + programme must be nominated by exchange coordinator of their home universty. The nomination website is accessible for coordinators since March (for nomination for following winter semester).
The online nomination procedure is done at the following website: http://is.mendelu.cz
Erasmus coordinator will log in to the Personal administration of University Information System and enter the user name and password that will be sent to them together with all necessary information by e-mail (automatically generated email from the University Information System).
The deadline for nominations:
for winter (autumn) semester: 15 June/ 15 May for non EU
for summer (spring) semester: 15 November/ 31 October for non EU
We would like to encourage the non EU coordinators to nominate their students as soon as possible and not to change their nominations once they have been completed. Sometimes the visa procedure can take up to two months to receive VISA permission. Timely nomination will help students to be in time with their visa issues.
To start the Erasmus application process a student has to fill in Online Learning Agreement (OLA). It must be duly completed and signed by Erasmus Institutional coordinator of sending university and by students. As soon as the Learning Agreement is confirmed by MENDELU coordinator, it will be sent back to the student by email. Each accepted student will also receive Letter of Acceptance and an informative email with their user name and password for access to the MENDELU University Information System. Students have to complete their personal details on the above mentioned website before the end of August (winter semester) and January (summer semester).

The International Relations Office together with ESN MENDELU organizes a Welcome Week for international students in order to help them find their feet. This event ususally takes place a week before the beginning of teaching part of the semester. Students obtain useful information about their stay, they are shown round the University Campus in Brno and they meet other international students. Welcome Week usually includes a short course of Czech language, all-day trips, a visit to the MENDELU Botanical Garden and Arboretum etc.
A detailed programme of the Welcome Week will be sent to all participants via e-mail a few days before the beginning. There is also a Facebook event with all the necessary information.

The fee for the whole Welcome Week is 1300 Czech crowns.
