City of Brno

Brno is one of the friendliest cities with excellent accessibility. The city of Brno puts Europe easily within reach but also boasts many attractions of its own. There is an International Airport just 20 minutes from the city centre and other major airports are very close (Prague – 200 km, Vienna – 120 km, Bratislava – 120 km). Theatres offer classical performances and modern productions. Restaurants and pubs feature a range of culinary delights including locally produced Moravian wine and delicious beer. 

Places of Interest

At the top of the Spilberk Hill, you can find the city´s famous castle, which contains a museum and casemates. 

Brno boasts many famous architectural jewels. You can see two Art Noveau villa the Jurkovič House and Löw-beer Villa or several functionalist buildings as the Tugendat Villa or the Stiassni Villa

On Petrov hill you can admire one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Moravia region nicknamed Petrov.

Originally a market place where you can find the Old Town Hall or a secret system of underground tunnels called the Labyrinth under the Vegetable Market.

The most important square in Brno which is surrounded by several remarkable building as House of the Lords of Lipá, Klein Palace or House of Four Giants.

Brno has a great number of historical buildings related to christianity as churches dedicated to St James, St Michael, St Tomas or the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, the Orthodox Church of St Wenceslas, the Red Church.
