BEFORE DEPARTURE

  • You must first go through a proper selection procedure.
  • You will then arrange a Learning Agreement (SMS)/Traineeship Agreement (STA) at least 6 weeks before the start of the mobility. Remember that the LA/TA must be in accordance with your study plan (this agreement is the basis for the recognition of your study abroad).
  • At the foreign department of the faculty, you will also submit a Letter of Acceptance from the receiving institution; according to these data, the faculty coordinator will fill your mobility in the UIS.
  • In order to send you a scholarship, you must open a euro account.
  • In UIS, you create a Travel proposal, then you have to pay for the insurance, now you have the option to pay for the insurance online.
  • You will upload your completed LA/TA, paid insurance and account number to the Checklists.
  • When you have done everything, you will arrange a date for signing the Grant Agreement (SMS)/GrantAgreement (SMP) at IRO (credit.mobility@mendelu.cz), before you arrive at the arranged meeting, send us the completed personal data in contract. by email
  • The Erasmus+ Student Charter and General Terms and Conditions are part of the Grant Agreement.
  • Before you leave, don't forget to find out information about the visa requirement in time, you will find everything you need on website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

DURING THE STAY

  • If you have any changes in your study contract during the SMS stay, you must fill in part LA of the DURING MOBILITY form (During the Mobility), have it confirmed by the host institution, the home faculty coordinator and ensure that a copy arrives at the IRO - changes must be approved within 30 days of the start of your study visit.
  • Immediately inform MENDELU about any changes (shortening or extension of your stay) and any problems with the fulfillment of the study contract!
  • For an SMP internship stay, you must complete and have the Changes to Traineeship Agreement confirmed.

  

Extension of stay for credit mobility is not normally possible, if this possibility occurs, we will inform you about it.

In this case, it is necessary to keep the following steps:

  • to obtain written consent of the receiving and sending institution to extend the study stay,
  • submit an Application for Extension of Study Stay (SMS) or Application for Extension of Internship (SMP),
  • sign an addendum to the Grant Agreement concluded between the student and the sending institution before the end of the original study stay,
  • ensure that the extension period follows the original study stay,
  • ensure that the maximum duration of the study stay is not exceeded, ie 12 months in one study cycle.

 

AFTER THE END OF YOUR STAY

  • You have to fill in the EU Survey Final Report in the European Mobility Tool+ database, after the end of your stay you will receive an e-mail inviting you to fill in the report, ATTENTION! the submission of the final report is a condition for drawing the Erasmus+ financial contribution.
  • In case of an SMS stay, you will deliver a Confirmation of study period to IRO, which will be issued and confirmed by the host organization before your departure. Remember that the confirmation must contain name of the participant and the date of start and completion of your study.
  • You must deliver this confirmation to IRO within 15 days of the end of the study stay.
  • ATTENTION! confirmation must not be older than 5 days before the end of the stay!
  • You must also provide us with a Transcript of Records for SMS and a Traineeship Certificate for SMP issued and confirmed by the host organization containing name of the participant and the results of your study/internship.
  • If you are a doctoral student, you will provide a Supervisor's Certificate describing the content of the study during your study stay. You will deliver this confirmation to IRO within 1 month from the end of the study stay.
  • You will need to return the travel insurance card to the cash desk of the Economics Department.
  • Also fill in a personal report from your stay at a partner university, in the form of a questionnaire.
  • At the faculty, you must ensure the recognition of completed courses.
  • Remember that recognition of a pre-approved study plan is a condition of the Erasmus+ program.
  • You muapply for recognition even if you do not lack credits for graduating from MENDELU!
