  • EU Member States - 29 countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Austria, Romania, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain)
  • European Economic Area (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland)
  • Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia




Study stay can be realized only on the basis of an inter-institutional agreement.

Terms of participation

All students who meet the following criteria may participate in study stay within the Erasmus+ Programme:

  • the student must meet the Qualification Conditions of the Erasmus+ Programme
  • the student is enrolled in at least the 2nd year of the Bachelor study programme (i.e. the student who intends to leave in the winter semester “WS” of the 2nd year, must apply in the 1st year in the 1st round of the selection procedure “SP”), or is a student of any year of the Master or Doctoral study programme at MENDELU in a regular, combined or distance study programme
  • the student was selected in a due selection procedure
  • the study period is organized solely pursuant to valid inter-institutional agreements concluded between MENDELU and an institution abroad
  • at the time of departure abroad, the student must be enrolled in the study at the faculty that mediates the mobility
  • the length of the study period ranges from 3 to 12 months
  • the programme is not intended for students who came to the Czech Republic under the Erasmus Mundus Programme

Repeated student mobilities under the Erasmus+ Programme

  • under Erasmus+, the student may participate in a mobility (study period and traineeship) several times in the study cycle concerned
  • the total duration of the mobilities must not exceed 12 Erasmus months (1 Erasmus month = 30 days)
  • mobilities are added up and include also mobilities under LLP Erasmus (2007–2013) and Erasmus Mundus
  • although repeated mobilities of students are possible, applications to such stays may be assessed as lower-preference mobilities in the SP due to the limited financial means assigned to this activity
